Mizu Japanese Fine Dining @ TTDI Plaza

It was a Sunday when I decide to try Mizu since their buffet was so cheap for the very 1st time. Was excited to try out their sashimi's but too bad I was not feeling well and wasn't really hungry at all

Mizu Mizu = Miss You

TTDI Plaza during weekend is pretty dead, unlike during happy hour during weekdays. The restaurant and bars are packed with people and its noisy of course. I prefer coming to TTDI Plaza during weekend as it is more peaceful and relaxing.

Here I am, waiting for the lift impatiently to eat. A greedy woman who has a small stomach for the lunch, sigh...

Signage in the Lift

Let me introduce their Buffet during weekend. Saturday Lunch is from 12.00 - 3.00pm only and it is chargeable @ RM 46.00 ++ per pax serving a'la carte buffet. Sunday Lunch it is a Showcase buffet  for RM 50.00 ++ per pax, which I am going to eat right now. Mizu do serve Friday, Saturday and Sunday a'la carte Buffet @ RM 60.00 ++ from 6.00pm - 10.00pm.

Mizu Sign Board is Simple yet Nice

Mizu in Japanese means Water. Though I dont speak and understand Japanese, but I love watching Japanese Anime and Dramas, so I have learned Mizu means water. Haha !!!

Nice Entrance Interior with see through floor

Please pick up your plate from here. Thank you

Sashimi...Im loving It !

The Sashimi's are flown in from Japan twice weekly just like Gonbei @ Starhill. Freshness of the Tuna are incomparable to Japan and none of the Japanese Restaurant that I have dine in Kuala Lumpur served up fresh Maguro= Tuna, which is saddening.

The Noodles Area

Sorry guys, gonna attack my chinmi first

Clean and organized yet moderate food varieties for Display Buffet

My favorite dish @ Mizu - Prawn Cocktail on bed of Ice

Assorted 4 types Sashimi Served

All these are my favorite appetizers

Assorted Maki

Assorted Sushi

Grilled Fish and Ika

The Chef was busy preparing our Scallop Teppayanki

Hot Dishes Counter

The Small Section of Dessert with 4 types of Fruits

The Display of Wine and Liqueur

Taken from inside if the restaurant towards the exit and entrance

4 types of cakes served - Far left Chocolate Swiss Roll, Pandan Cake, Salted Cheesecake and Macha with Azuki Swiss Roll

The Bar Area

25 Items of Dishes to order a'la minute (waiting time roughly 15minutes)

Itadakimasu Everyone

4 types of  Sashimi served (clockwise) Maguro, Salmon, Kanpachi and White Tuna or Aburo

Yummy, my starter-(from anticlock wise) Chuka Scallop, Chuka  Idako, Chuka Kurage, Tamago, Lemon Wedges for my Sashimi

Piping Hot Chawan Mushi with Gingko Nut

Some variety of hot dishes served at Buffet Counter

Not overly Sweet Unagi Kabayaki

Look at the Ebikko and Soft Shell Crab in the Salad, wonderful

Mizu Specialty Maki and the background of Stir Fry Bittergourd

Hot, Crunchy and not Oil Ebi Tempura

Salty Cheesecake a'la Japanese Version

Orange Jelly with some Can Cocktail Fruits

Goma & Macha Ice Cream with Azuki Paste

Verdict:- It was well worth the money for RM 57.50 nett per person. If you are the type of person that love varieties and just love trying in small bite, then this is not the place to go. Varieties wise is not as much as Rakuzen Buffet or Umaiya Restaurant. This place is pretty cosy and quieter incomparision to the restaurants mentioned above as mostly family and couple visit Mizu.

Wastage is not allow as it is chargable at RM 10.00 for 50grams. Takeaway are not allow either. How I wish to take away the prawn cocktail as it is so juicy and fresh.

Dessert wise there is nothing to shout about as it is very normal but the dishes to recommend are Unagi Kabayaki, Goma and Macha Ice Cream, Tempura, Assorted Maki, Prawn Cocktail and Mizu Soft Shell Crab Salad are wonderful.
